Max Morehouse became the first businessman to use an aircraft for business purposes on November 7, 1910.  Mr. Morehouse chartered the Wright Brothers Model B airplane to fly $800 worth of silk from Dayton, Ohio to Columbus Ohio.  This became the first air-cargo flight as well.  Mr. Morehouse was an astute businessman, as he profited $5,000 on this charter, equal to $100,000 today!!!
